NCP Chief Sharad Pawar said, “I did not receive the invitation to Ram Temple. I am happy that Ram temple is being built and in this regard, as the opposition, we have only this to say that those in power have no other issue left, hence they are pushing the issue of Ram temple forward.”

Among the leaders who have received an invitation to attend this grand event are Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, former Congress Presidents Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. While Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi have not agreed to participate in the program, Manmohan Singh will not be able to attend due to health reasons.

These leaders rejected the invitation

The leaders who received the invitation and rejected it include CPIM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury, CPIM leader Vrinda Karat. CPM has accused the government of mixing religion with politics. Along with this, there is news quoting sources that Trinamool Congress President and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will also not attend this program. In this sequence, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD President Lalu Prasad Yadav are also there.
