While Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi have not agreed to participate in the program, Manmohan Singh will not be able to attend due to health reasons.

The leaders who received the invitation and rejected it include CPIM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury, CPIM leader Vrinda Karat. CPM has accused the government of mixing religion with politics.
