The BCCI has announced the Indian team for the T20I series against Bangladesh. Mayank Yadav, who played IPL for Lucknow Super Giants, has been selected for the first time in the 15-member team. Abhishek Sharma has also returned. Also, Sanju Samson and Jitesh Sharma have been included as wicketkeepers.

Mayank Yadav gets a place
Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant, who were part of the Test, have been rested. In their place, Abhishek Sharma, Riyan Parag and Nitish Kumar Reddy have been included in the team. Fast bowler Mayank Yadav has got a place in the Indian team for the first time. He has been rewarded for his lethal bowling in IPL 2024.
