Barcelona’s Legendary footballer Samuel Eto’o has been embroiled in a major controversy during the Football World Cup. The video of him kicking a young cameraman on the ground has gone viral. The video is from Monday night after the Brazil-South Korea match at Stadium 974. Brazil won the match 4–1.
The 41-year-old former Cameroonian footballer Eto’o was seen hitting the youngster with a football-like kick towards the end of the video. After this he fell down. The victim has been identified as Algerian YouTuber SM Sadouni.
Why did the ex-footballer get angry…?
As seen in the video, Eto got angry at Sadouni who was making the video. Sadouni was asking him a question.
At this, Eto first shouted at the YouTuber, then ran to kill him. In the end, Eto even kicked him in the face. Eto was taking selfies with fans.
Took retirement in 2019
Eto’o top-scored 56 international goals in 118 appearances for Cameroon before retiring in 2019. From 1998 to 2014, he played the FIFA World Cup for his country 4 times. Playing for teams like FC Barcelona, Inter Milan and Chelsea, he won many awards and trophies in his club career.

Samuel Eto’o has been present in Qatar since the first day of the World Cup. He was invited by FIFA, the governing body of football in the world, as a legacy ambassador. Eto’o is currently the President of the Cameroon Football Association.
