Filmfare Awards 2023 has come to an end. Where Rajkumar Rao got the Best Actor Award. Whereas Alia Bhatt was awarded the Best Actress Award. The show was hosted by Salman Khan while Ayushmann Khurrana and Manish Paul co-hosted with him. Gangubai Kathiawadi has received the Best Film Award. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has received the Best Director Award for this film.
Alia’s Gangubai and Rajkumar’s Badhaai Do dominate
This year’s Filmfare Awards were dominated by Alia Bhatt’s Gaganbai Kathiawadi and Rajkumar Rao’s Badhaai Do. These films have received awards in many categories. Ranbir Kapoor’s film Brahmastra is also not lagging behind(Filmfare Awards 2023).
Arijit Singh received the Best Playback Singer Award for their song Kesariya, while director Ayan Mukerji’s film received the Filmfare Award for VFX.

These Awards were started in 1954
The Filmfare Awards were started in 1954. This award ceremony is organized every year. For the first time the film ‘Do Bigha Zameen’ was awarded this award. If you look at the records so far, Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Gully Boy’ got the maximum number of 13 Filmfare Awards. At the same time, the maximum number of nominations (19 nominations) were received by Aamir Khan’s film Rang De Bansati. Writer and director Gulzar has received the maximum number of awards (21 times).
