Dr. Asmita tells that the good thing is that this disease does not completely destroy the stem cells ie the cells that grow new hair. If the right treatment is taken in time, then there is a good scope for regrowth and return of hair. This disease is seen more in children and young people, especially in those below 30 years of age.
