Bachelor’s Joey Graziadei and Kelsey’s: On Monday’s Bachelor finale, Joey Graziadei announced his engagement to Kelsey Anderson. As he has stated previously this season, Joey has no intention of jumping straight to marriage.

In a joint interview with Kelsey, 25, for this week’s edition of PEOPLE, Joey, 28, says(Bachelor’s Joey Graziadei and Kelsey’s), “We want to promise our lives together, but we don’t want to rush it.” Now is the time to savor this. We can celebrate it for the rest of our lives. We’re just going to enjoy this moment and take things day by day.
Kelsey believes Joey and she will be engaged for a minimum of two to three years. She admits, “I honestly have no idea what I want my wedding to look like.” “I 
The tennis player makes the argument that he and his fiancée will have more time to plan if their engagement lasts longer. Joey says, “I’m sure that will lead to more ideas.” We just don’t want to rush through it; we don’t want to put it off. We want it to be a unique experience that we can share.
Joey and Kelsey intend to consolidate their lives in New York City after reveling in New Orleans.

“Joey is encouraging me to live there, which is something I’ve always wanted to do,” Kelsey says. Since we’re still young, I believe this is the ideal time for us to experience sharing a small, claustrophobic flat. We may at least claim to have done it, even if we detest it.
Joey believes that residing in the Big Apple will be enjoyable.
“Anyone who knows me personally knows that I’ve always been drawn to the beach and warm weather. I resided in Hawaii, but my time in New York is where I’ve truly fallen in love,” the Bachelor claims. “Yes, it feels different. I’ve never been a city dweller. I have close friends and relatives in the Philadelphia region, so it will be wonderful to finally be close to them. We are thrilled because we believe this is the ideal time to accomplish it.
By the end of the summer, the recently engaged couple hopes to relocate to New York City and “spend a year or more there.”
Recently, on a windy day after work, Kelsey saw a butterfly with a broken wing. It crawled up my hand when I reached down to touch it, and it refused to move. I carried it in my hand as I drove home,” she says. Then, in the less windy area by my house, I placed it on a small flower. That was incredibly meaningful to me, and it made me feel a lot of wonderful, mixed emotions. I believe those are only indications from my mother.
