IT raid on BBC’s Delhi-Mumbai office: It has been reported that the Income Tax Department (IT) team has reached the Delhi office of BBC. According to the information, a team of 60 to 70 IT people is involved in the raid. Sources said that the phones of staff have been switched off during the action. Along with this, anyone has been stopped from coming and going in the campus.

According to sources in the Income Tax Department, BBC is accused of irregularities in International Tax. Survey is being done regarding this. However, no official information has been received from the Income Tax Department or BBC regarding this raid. Here, the Congress has tweeted and called it an undeclared emergency.

After raid on BBC offices, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said – Here we are demanding JPC in Adani’s case and there the government is after BBC. ‘Wisdom opposite to destruction’.
