Salman Khan House firing: Two unidentified persons riding a motorcycle opened fire outside the Mumbai house of Bollywood actor Salman Khan in the early hours of Sunday. Police have also recovered the bike which is suspected to have been used by the accused, about a kilometer away from Salman’s apartment. Five rounds were fired at Salman Khan House firing
A police officer said that at around 5 am, two persons fired five rounds outside the ‘Galaxy Apartment’ located in the Bandra area and ran away(Salman Khan House firing). Actor Salman Khan lives in this building. Police are scanning the CCTV footage installed around their house to identify the accused.
Police started investigation(Lawrence Bishnoi Connection)
A team of local police, crime branch and forensic science experts also reached the spot to collect evidence and investigation into the incident has been started. Nothing has been officially said by the police or Salman’s family regarding whether Salman was at home at the time of the incident or not.
Salman was Threatened last year
In March last year, the actor was threatened by an e-mail sent to Salman’s office(Salman Khan House firing). After this, Mumbai Police had registered an FIR against gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldie Brar and another under sections 120-B of IPC and other sections. This FIR was lodged on the basis of a complaint given by Prashant Gunjalkar to Bandra Police.
According to the police, Gunjalkar often visits Salman’s Bandra residence and runs an artist management company. Police had earlier said that the email said that Salman must have seen the interview given by Lawrence Bishnoi to a news channel and if he has not, he should watch it.
Threat was received in 2022 also
Gunjalkar was told in the email that if Khan wanted to close the matter(Salman Khan House firing), he should talk to Goldie Bhai face to face. It was said in the email – There is still time, but next time the shock will be seen. Police had said that in June 2022 also, an unknown person had threatened Salman through a handwritten letter.
