Sacha Baron Cohen & Isla Fisher Break Up: Actress Isla Fisher, who was reared in Perth, is thought to have announced her divorce from husband Sacha Baron Cohen in response to “embarrassing” claims of alleged sexual harassment.

After more than 20 years together and 14 years of marriage, the 48-year-old former Methodist Ladies’ College student revealed the split on her Instagram account on Friday night.
According to Fisher’s announcement, the pair filed for divorce jointly in 2023.

By posting a joint statement on their own Instagram pages, Sacha and Isla declared their separation on April 5.
“We are finally putting down our racquets after a long tennis match lasting over 20 years,” they said in the Instagram Stories post. “We jointly filed to dissolve our marriage in 2023. Our privacy has always come first, and we have been subtly(Hollywood power couple) implementing this change. We will always be united in our love and devotion to our kids. We are so grateful that you honored our family’s need for privacy.
Baron Cohen has denied the claims.
A spokesperson for the actor vehemently pushed back.
“While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of …. Grimsby,” they said.
It is believed the allegations were “a catalyst” in Fisher’s decision to announce the split, to protect her own career and reputation.

Sacha and Isla share three children. The parents, however, have chosen to protect their kids’ names as they navigate their future plans as a family.
Rebel Wilson’s Allegations Against Sacha
In her memoir, Rebel Rising, Rebel accused Sacha of sexual harassment while working with him on their comedy film, Grimsby.
“It felt like every time I’d speak to SBC(Sacha Baron Cohen & Isla Fisher Break Up), he’d mention that he wanted me to go naked in a future scene,” the Pitch Perfect franchise star claimed in her book. “I was like, ‘Ha, I don’t do nudity, Sacha.”
At one point in the memoir, Rebel alleged that Sacha sent a production assistant to tell her she was needed to film “an additional scene.”

“‘OK, well, we’re gonna film this extra scene,’ SBC says,” Rebel added. “Then he pulls his pants down. SBC says very matter-of-factly: ‘OK, now I want(Sacha Baron Cohen & Isla Fisher Break Up) you to stick your finger up my ass.’ And I’m like, ‘What?? No!!’ … I was now scared. I wanted to get out of there, so I finally compromised: I slapped him on the ass and improvised a few lines as the character.”
