How much will be the penalty for filing ITR from August 1?
Yesterday i.e. till 31st July was the last date to file an income tax return. If you have missed filing your ITR by tomorrow then you may have to pay a penalty for not filing ITR now.
Let us tell you that taxpayers with annual income up to Rs 5 lakh may have to pay a late fine of Rs 1000. On the other hand, if your annual income is more than Rs 5 lakh, then you may have to pay a late fine of Rs 5,000.
On the other hand, if you file ITR after December 31, 2023, then you may have to pay a fine of double i.e. up to Rs 10,000.
Commercial gas cylinders became cheaper
On Tuesday, August 1, oil companies cut the prices of commercial LPG cylinders. Oil companies today reduced the price of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 99.75.
