Bollywood director and Khatron Ke Khiladi host Rohit Shetty stepped in to host the episode in place of Salman Khan. A new promo dropped by JioHotstar shows Rohit grilling Gaurav Khanna about his behaviour in the show, while Amaal Mallik loses his temper and lashes out at Gaurav right in front of him, leading to massive backlash from viewers.

In the promo, Rohit Shetty can be seen questioning Gaurav, asking, “Gaurav, jo 4–5 hafton se chal raha hai, woh real hai ya phir pehle wala Gaurav asli tha?”
Gaurav calmly replies, “I have been in the same group since day one. I always carry my dignity.”
At this point, Amaal abruptly interrupts and says,
“Captain bana toh dignity khidki se chali gayi, aur yeh hass-hass ke nikla.”
Gaurav counters by pointing out how Shehbaz had made Amaal the captain through cheating, yet Amaal still accepted it. This instantly triggers Amaal, who jumps from his seat and angrily says:

When Gaurav asks why Amaal is reacting so aggressively, Amaal warns him:
“Main trigger ho gaya na toh problem ho jayegi tumhe.”
