Prajwal Revanna’s videos: BJP leader and advocate G Devaraje Gowda, currently in custody following his arrest in a sexual abuse case and facing charges related to a video leak, alleged on Friday that Shivakumar and four other ministers orchestrated the distribution of pen drives. In response, Shivakumar dismissed Gowda’s allegations, suggesting that Gowda may be facing mental health issues and advised him to seek treatment. He declined to comment further on what he deemed baseless accusations from someone currently in jail.

Regarding the possibility of filing a defamation case against Gowda, Shivakumar declined to engage, stating he did not wish to respond to allegations made by someone he considered mentally unwell, and urged Gowda’s party members to prioritize his health.

Shivakumar reiterated his government’s commitment to ensuring justice for victims of sexual abuse and expressed confidence in the ongoing probe by the Special Investigation Team (SIT).
Meanwhile, Gowda, speaking to the media while being transported from court(Prajwal Revanna’s videos), reiterated his accusations against Shivakumar and implicated a team of four ministers, alleging their involvement in an attempt to besmirch the reputations of political adversaries.

Minister Chaluvarayaswamy refuted Gowda’s allegations, questioning the moral integrity of such accusations and challenging Gowda to provide evidence of ministerial involvement, pledging an apology if proven wrong. Many people are involved in this (sexual exploitation case), I do not want to take anyone’s name. Kumaraswamy has said that action should be taken against all those who are involved in this case and the affected women should get justice and compensation.
We have no objection to taking action against Prajwal. But people have come to know (the facts) about the allegations made against HD Revanna and how the case has been made. In one case he has got bail, in the other case the decision is due the day after tomorrow. …I don’t want to comment on this.
