Salman Khan Murder Plot: The Bombay High Court on Friday granted bail to two individuals accused in the conspiracy to assassinate Bollywood actor Salman Khan near his farmhouse in Panvel.

Justice NR Borkar approved the bail applications of Gaurav Bhatia, also known as Sandeep Bishnoi, and Waspi Mehmud Khan. The court’s detailed order is yet to be released.
According to the Navi Mumbai police, these two suspects, along with other accused members of the Bishnoi gang, conducted reconnaissance at Salman Khan’s Panvel farmhouse, his Bandra residence, and several shooting locations.

A case was registered against 18 members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang for allegedly planning to kill the Bollywood superstar. In April 2024, two members of the gang fired shots outside Khan’s Bandra apartment, intensifying security concerns.
The FIR named several individuals, including jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, his absconding brother Anmol Bishnoi, and associates such as Sampat Nehra, Goldie Brar, and Rohit Godhara. Police investigations revealed that one of the accused was allegedly in contact with a Pakistan-based individual to procure AK-47 rifles for the planned attack(Salman Khan Murder Plot).
This case has raised serious concerns about celebrity security in Mumbai, and further legal proceedings are awaited.
