Batting first, RCB scored 183 runs on the score board after losing 3 wickets in 20 overs. On behalf of the team, Virat Kohli batted brilliantly and scored the first century of this season. Kohli remained unbeaten after scoring 113 runs in 72 balls. Whereas, Faf du Plessis contributed 44 runs.
Rajasthan had a very poor start while chasing the target. Yashasvi Jaiswal was out on the second ball of the first over without opening the account. After this, there was a partnership of 148 runs for the second wicket between Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler. Sanju Samson was out after scoring 69 runs. Butler remained unbeaten till the end. He completed his century by hitting a six and led the team to victory by 6 wickets.
