“Whoa, that was an amazing catch—if not manipulated. It’s a cat,” an internet user said.
One more person said, “It’s not a big cat.” Even from this far away, it appears large. The way it functions is that it is a large feline, akin to a leopard or tiger. or a lioness. It’s quite strange if this isn’t an altered video.”

The Delhi Police denied such reports and wrote on social media site X(Leopard At Rashtrapati Bhavan), “The facts being shown are incorrect. The animal captured in the camera is a pet cat. Please do not pay attention to such rumours.” In its second post, Delhi Police wrote, “Some media channels and social media handles are showing the picture of an animal taken during the live telecast of the swearing-in ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan yesterday and claiming that it is a wild animal. This fact is absolutely wrong.”
