The tenure of the head coach will last till 2027

What are the conditions to become the coach of the Indian cricket team
- Have played at least 30 Test matches or 50 ODI matches, or have been the head coach of a full member test playing nation for a minimum period of 2 years.
- OR have been the Head Coach of an Associate Member/IPL team or equivalent International League/First Class team/National A-Team for a minimum period of 3 years.
- Or must have BCCI Level 3 certification or equivalent, and must be below 60 years of age.
